Video of Lesson, part 1 (Due 08/30)
Record one lesson and upload the video file to your Google Drive (instructions are here). Share the video with [email protected] along with the lesson plan used that day. The lesson needs to be a day where you are teaching (a short quiz is fine, but not a test or review day). The lesson plan can be what you turn in for your district. Make sure your written lesson plan has what is outlined in the rubric. The rubric below will be used to grade the lesson.

Video of Lesson, Part 2 (Due 12/03)
Record one lesson and upload it to YouTube. The lesson needs to be a day where you are teaching (a short quiz is fine, but not a test or review day). The lesson plan can be what you turn in for your district. Under the share settings, set it to "unlisted" (https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/157177?hl=en). Send a link to the video and the lesson plan used that day. Complete the blog associated with this video.
REACT Survey Project, Part 1 (10/08)
This project has you administering a survey to your students and using the results to shape a plan. The survey used is the REACT Survey and more information can be found at this website. The rubric is attached to the project description. The link to the survey that students fill out is here.

Blog Post 1: The first day of School (already done)
- Pretend you are one of your students. From his/her perspective, narrate their first day in your class.
- Include a photo of your classroom.
- Describe your first week/first few days. What went well? What do you need to improve for next week? What sort of classroom management issues did you encounter? How did the reality compare to what you thought would happen? (Transformation - Engages in continuous self-evaluation and improvement).
Blog Post 3: A Topic of Your Choice (Due September 15th)
- Choose any topic upon which to blog. This is very open-ended.
- Possible topics if you are stuck: What you do to unwind after teaching?; What is something that has been a lightbulb moment for you?; What is something you tried that was really successful?; What are the most enjoyable aspects of teaching?
Blog post 4: The learning environment (Due October 1st)
- What have you done to create a the learning environment in your classroom? If you were given more resources, what would you add to your classroom? How does your classroom welcome all students?
- Include a photo that complements your blog post. (Practice: Designs and uses educational environments and instructional practices to meet all students’ needs, abilities, and interests).
Blog post 5: Collaboration (Due November 1st)
- At your school, who have you turned to for help and support? How has this impacted student learning?
- Include a photo of you with the person, if they are willing to be photographed. If not, include a photo of your choice. (collaboration: works with relevant stakeholders to advance student learning)
Blog post 6: Assessment (Due November 20th)
- How are you assessing students formally? What kinds of informal assessments do you use? How do your assessments inform and change how you teach?
- Include a photo or a screenshot of one assessment you use. (Assessment: Understands and thoughtfully uses formal and informal evaluation strategies)
- Review the videos you have of your teaching (from the summer and the two you have done this semester). What have been the biggest changes you notice over time? What are your strengths? What areas do you wish to improve? (Transformation - Engages in continuous self-evaluation and improvement).

This follows the same format for the lesson plan you created for Dr. Monroe. The difference is that this time you do not need to use the template. If your district has a template you follow, you can use that one.
